Notes
1. “你 好” Hello!/Hi!
It is an everyday greeting and is used at any
time, on any occasion and by a person of any social
status. The reply should
also be “你好”。
2. “你 好吗？How are you?
It is an everyday greeting and is usually used
between acquaintances. A polite expression such as “
我很好can be used as a reply.
3. “也“ is usually used directly after the subject of a sentence, which is
different from English.
